Sunrise Trekking at Mount Batur for Beginner (Private Group and Private Car)

Itinerary

You will be picked up by a private car on 1.30 am at your hotel and proceeded to Pura Jati trekking station. The climb will start around 3.15 am and it will reach the peak around 5.30 am. The trek is and inclining, it requires physical activity and an occasional climbing. We will equip you with head torch and a trekking pole to assist with the climbing. Our qualified guide can customize the trekking pace and can assist for any inconvenience.

After reaching the peak, which located 1717 m above sea level) we will enjoy the scenery for 45 minutes, while sipping tea or coffee and eating breakfast. Upon descending we will see local plantations, including cabbage, tomato, chili, and shallots. There are also rows of white paperbark trees planted by the villagers. The road we are passing is full of volcanic rocks considering mt. batur is still an active volcano, and in some part the group will pass natural hot steams excreted from mountain cracks, in which, the local called “Anti Aging Spa”. Next to the steam cracks there is a sacred cave that is used by local people ancestors to do long spiritual meditation. Because the sun has fully risen on our way down we will be able to enjoy the view of Batur lake and its glittering reflection from the sun.
