TANAH LOT TEMPLE.
Tanah Lot means "Land in the Sea" in the Balinese language. Located in Tabanan, about 20 kilometres from Denpasar, the temple sits on a large offshore rock which has been shaped continuously over the years by the ocean tide.
Tanah Lot is claimed to be the work of the 16th-century Dang Hyang Nirartha. During his travels along the south coast he saw the rock-island's beautiful setting and decided to rest there. The main deity of the temple is Dewa Baruna or Bhatara Segara, who is the sea god or sea power and these days.
Here we also visit Batu Bolong temple.
On this tour we will visit Tanah lot temple in the morning to avoid the crowd.
TAMAN AYUN TEMPLE / ROYAL FAMILY TEMPLE
Taman Ayun literally translates as ‘beautiful garden’ and is generally regarded as one of the most attractive temples of Bali. The Taman Ayun temple is situated in a beautiful park with trees and ponds, near the village of Mengwi in the south of Bali at about 8 km southwest of Ubud.
Pura Taman Ayun was built in 1634 by the Raja of Mengwi, I Gusti Agung Putu. It is a socalled
Pura Kawiten or family temple, a special temple where the deified ancestors of the Raja Dynasty of Mengwi and important gods of other temples are honored.
UBUD MONKEY FOREST
The Ubud monkey forest own by Padang Tegal village's. The village residents view of monkey forest as an important spiritual, economic, education and conservation for the village.
There are many of point interest that you can see here. Other than around 700 monkeys, you also can see more than 100 species of the trees in 12,5 hectares of forest. Where will allowing you to get an abundant of fresh air.
TRADITIONAL BALINESE HOUSE COMPOUND
Balinese house is built within a compound surrounded by walls of whitewashed mud or brick, depending on the wealth of the owner. The Balinese residential compound is dominated with pavilions (
bale) which surround a central courtyard (
natah).
When a son of the family marries, his wife usually moves into his compound, so a compound is frequently a place for extended families, each with their own sleeping quarters, but otherwise sharing the facilities. Domestic activities take place outside or in the pavilion.
TEGENUNGAN WATERFALL
Tegenungan waterfall located of Tegenungan village and close to the artist village of Ubud.
The waterfall is isolated but has become a famous tourist attraction. It is one of the few waterfall in Bali that not situated in highlands or mountainous territory.
