AWESOME TRIP!!!! the trip starts early, you are picked up in a nice comfortable van. From there you will drive about 2 hrs depending on traffic to the Temple. Great photo op, we arrived when the before any other tourists and it was just our small group 6. There you will eat breakfast. The food was delicious!!! traditional Balinese duck egg omelet with a sweet pastry, bananas and coffee or hot coco. not a sit down meal, more of a picnic style but all the same amazing After this you get back in the van and head to the waterfall the road is super windy and narrow so our tour guide suggested we try to get some sleep to prevent getting carsickness. IF you don't get car sick you can see tons of monkeys on the side of the road as you travel to the water fall. once you arrive it si about a 20 minutes walk/hike to the water fall you do go down some steep steps. The waterfalls are amazing!! they make this trip worth the price, you can slide down the waterfalls jump off and swim at your leisure. The guides are SOOO friendly and helpful. They took such good care of my six year old and let us enjoy the waterfall in the parts she could or wouldn't join. They also took many pictures and video of us throughout the whole trip. life vests are provided to slide down the waterslide or if you just want to wear a life vest to jump off. the scenery is breathtaking all throughout the trek. after the last waterfall come the only hard/bad part of this tour, walking up about 300 steps out of the canyon. once out you get to this beautiful restaurant on top of a mountain where the van is waiting, again the scenery is divine. you are then able to change and freshen up before lunch. lunch is a set lunch or various choices your guide will give you options of noodles, rice, curry. the food was great and the company was really good. Our guide was super friendly and she was very outgoing, totally made the experience 10 times better. DO bring water shoes or shoes you don't mind getting wet the rocks are brutal!!! DO bring and extra set of clothes. my six year old was able to easily hike and walk through the entire trip with no issues, she even jumped off a couple of rocks. I would say the only bad thing about the entire day was the long commute back to Kuta. This trip over all was one of our Bali highlights! DEFFF recommend it.
