Discover Chittorgarh and many other places on the outskirts of Udaipur with Rishabh. The journey begins after a drive from the city to Chittor Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The picturesque fort sits on a hill and spreads across 692 acres. There are several monuments and places to explore inside the massive fort - the Victory Tower, Tower of Fame, Rana Kumbha's Palace, Kalika Mata Temple and Meera Bai Temple. The Chittorgarh Government Museum is a 19th century palace turned into an exhibit space that houses sculptures, weapons, coins, clothes and many more things. From the fort, drive 12 km up to Nagri, an ancient city, and explore the many excavated Hindu and Buddhist architectural structures there. Head to Bassi village, a beautiful place with temples and ponds. Take a break to have lunch at the Bassi Fort Palace before continuing the tour. Visit the 34100 acre Bassi Wildlife Sanctuary for some wildlife exploration. The last leg of the trip happens to be at Castle Bijaipur, a beautiful monument turned hotel. Relax and the enjoy the surrounding and get the opportunity to meet the present king who resides there.

We booked this tour earlier this year during our trip to Udaipur. As is being advertised, the tour promises to offer a guided tour with the host ( or as it falsely advertises) however, on the day of our tour we were told all we were being offered is a car with a driver (who does'nt have any clue about the tour itinerary). I do not even wish to go into further detail like the included lunch and water which the tour operator did not have any clue about. All in all a big letdown. Kindly refrain from this tour as in its current shape the tour offers a really poor experience.
