About this activity
At 9.00 am board the air-conditioned car with driver and leave for Kumbhalgarh village. The tour guide will join you in the 2 hours journey. Enjoy the scenic route view while speeding towards Kumbhalgarh.
Kumbhalgarh is a Mewar fortress built in 15th century by Rana Kumbha. It shares exotic location on a hilltop (at 1,100 m height) in the Aravalli range of Hills near Udaipur. It is also known for being birthplace of brave Rajput King Maharana Pratap.
Tour the citadel and explore its striking features - 15 feet thick frontal walls, 7 fortified gateways, 38 km unusually long boundary walls, over 360 temples (300 Jain and remaining Hindu), Lakhola Tank, Badshahi Baori, etc. The commanding view of undulating Aravalli hills and Sand Dunes of Thar Desert is a sight to behold.
After the excursion you will be taken for a filling lunch at a restaurant in Kumbhalgarh. Post lunch you will be dropped back at your hotel in Udaipur terminating the Kumbhalgarh Fort tour package.
