Narlai Trip from Udaipur with Leopards Village Walk and Step Well Dinner

Day 1: Udaipur to Narlai
After getting picked up from the hotel in Udaipur at 9 AM, our driver will take you to Narlai that will take about 3 hours.
The 15th century old village of Narlai is a sleepy yet amazing destination in Rajasthan, delightfully tucked between Udaipur and Jodhpur, and is a great place to explore the local countryside. The village is popular for a large number of temples, rocky landscapes and the community of Rabaris. Formerly, Narlai was an important hunting ground for the Royal family of Jodhpur.
Arrive at Narlai village, and get transferred to the
heritage resort of Rawla Narlai, located in the heart of the Aravali mountain range,dating to 16th century, is a tastefully restored heritage property, which still continues to be the residence of Jodhpur’s royal family.
Check into the resort and freshen up. Afterward, enjoy an exclusive and delicious meal for lunch at the resort.
After the lunch, begin on a journey to experience the thrill of Jeep Safari for sighting of leopards around the spectacular countryside of Narlai. These graceful cats can be seen basking under the sun on the rocks or resting under the tree. Narlai is one of the only two places in Rajasthan, which is quite popular for leopard sighting in their natural habitat. The big cats roam around freely in the region undisturbed by the local community.
After an exciting Leopard Safari, return to the resort and relax awhile.
In the evening, a fabulous dinner awaits you at the Step Well. Taste the flavor of true Rajasthani royal hospitality at the 16th century Step Well (called Baori in local) of Narlai. The culinary experience is a once in a lifetime experience; the entire step wells are lit by hundreds of diyas (earthen lamps) and lanterns accompanied by live traditional folk song performances. As the amazing culinary experience ends, return to the hotel with wonderful memories. Overnight stay at resort.
 
Day 2: Narlai-Udaipur
 After enjoying a hearty breakfast at the resort, proceed to your Narlai Village Walk Tour. You’ll get a peek into the lifestyle and culture of the close knit traditional community of Narlai, who still lead a traditional way of life. Interact with the locals and listen to their amazing stories. Also to explore, there are several temples around the village, some of them as old as 14th century.
After the Village Walking Tour, return to resort. Then, check out, and journey back to your hotel in Udaipur.
