Private Day Trip to Fort Chittorgarh and Castle Bijaipur from Udaipur

A guide and driver will collect you from your centrally-located Udaipur hotel for the 2-hour excursion to Chittorgarh, the world-famous hilltop fort spread over 700 acres. Upon reaching the fort you'll visit its many attractions such as Victory Tower, Tower of Fame, Rana Kumbha's Palace, the Kalika Mata Temple, Meera Bai Temple, and the Government Museum.

After, proceed to Nagri, one of the oldest towns of India, which was of great importance during the reign of the Mauryas who ruled India from 322 tho 187 BCE. Many Hindu and Buddhist architectural remains can be found there.

From there the tour heads to Bassi village with its fort-palace, temples, and kunds (sacred ponds). Have lunch at Fort-Palace Bassi (included) before visiting the 138 sq.km. Bassi Wildlife Sanctuary.

In late afternoon the tour will leave for Bijaipur, a marvelous castle built by Rao Shakti Singh, now a heritage hotel. Meet the present Raja, a great horse rider and polo player. Relax in the beautiful environment of the castle, and enjoy unlimited drinks, BBQ, and dinner by the pool.

At around 7:15pm, leave for Udaipur so as to reach your hotel by approximately 9:15pm.
