About this activity

In the morning, pickup up your vehicle at one of the location of rental car stations in Ulaanbaatar or Ulaanbaatar Airport to embark on this self-guided road trip. Upon pickup, please provide your valid drivers license and credit card for a security deposit payment of USD$300 that will be refunded to you at time of return. Your vehicle will have a full tank of gas so you could drive off to your destinations immediately but please refuel your vehicle before returning it. A road map and driving instructions will be provided to you along with your vehicle.

Recommended stops of the day includes:

1. Khustain National Park

2. Elsen Tasarkhai Sand Dunes

3. Kharakorum

You may also extend your trip for another day by staying overnight in Kharakorum.
