Itinerary
Day 1: ULAANBAATAR - BIRTHPLACE OF CHINGGIS KHAAN
Stop At: Batnorov Soum Stadium, Dundburd, Mongolia
Ulaanbaatar – via Khentii province - Batnorov 465km Start in Ulaanbaatar, drive to Batnorov village of Khentii province. After arrival, enjoy your welcome dinner with our team and local folklore performance in the evening.

Day 2: OPENING CEREMONY AND COMPETITION
Stop At: Batnorov Soum Stadium, Dundburd, Mongolia
After breakfast arrive at the venue of Winter Horse Festival. Before the official beginning participant riders will gather their herd to catch horses. “Lassoing Horse” tournament will be a real competition among horsemen. Finalists will be selected and continue after Opening Ceremony. Later official Opening parade of the festival will begin with elaborately dressed riders followed by amazing competitions. Note, if you wish you can also take part in the parade. During the parade “Beautiful couple on best horse gear or silver saddle will be selected. Other games such as “Talented rider” and Singing contest will take place.

Day 3: HORSE FESTIVAL DAY II
Stop At: Batnorov Soum Stadium, Dundburd, Mongolia
Batnorov- Baganuur 310km Festival carries on with a short distance race. Local participants will demonstrate their skills such as catching, taming and training of young steed. Extremely elaborate traditional dresses, outstandingly elegant saddles and horse gears, smiling people and sturdy horses will surely add dramatic color to your pictures. Following the horse contests, there is a show of Mongolian dog breeders. Various breeds of dogs, such as taiga dogs will also walk in the parade. Dogs will show off their hunting skills by competing for the prey. Later in the afternoon we will drive back towards Ulaanbaatar.

Day 4: CHINGGIS KHAAN STATUE- ULAANBAATAR
Stop At: Baganuur Grace Christian Church, Baganuur, Mongolia
Baganuur – Ulaanbaatar 130km After breakfast we will continue driving to the biggest equestrian statue of Chinggis Khaan. Currently it’s considered as the biggest Statue of a man on horseback with actual height of 40ms. Made of stainless steel, the Statue was erected according to the legend of finding a golden whip in the area. At the Statue complex you will rise to the mane of the horse by an elevator and enjoy some museums of Mongolian history and culture. Arrive in Ulaanbaatar. Transfer to your accommodation.
