Itinerary

Day 1: CAMEL RIDING IN SEMI- GOBI– KARAKORUM FORMER CAPITAL CITY/360KM - 6 HOURS/ (L,D)

Stop At: Khugnu Tarna, Mongolia
Your tour guide and driver will pick you up from your accommodation at 09:00 a.m. and drive to Khugnu Khan nature reserve. The reserve covers an area of 47000 hectares, this park contains many historical monuments, forests of silver birches and poplar trees, and sources. Once in reserve, you will see an interesting ecosystem where steppe and the taiga meet. You will ride Bactrian camel for one hour. Afterwards, drive to the former capital Karakorum and stay overnight in tourist Ger camp.

Day 2: ENJOY TSENKHER HOT SPRING /150KM – 3 HOURS/ (B,L,D)

Stop At: Tsenkher Hot Spring, Tsenkher, Tsetserleg 65190 Mongolia
Time to travel to Karakorum; a former capital of 13th century Mongolian Empire. Today it is an agricultural town with many attractions popular for tourism. Visit Kharakhorum museum presenting mind-blowing archeological finding dated back to Stone Age, Bronze Age and 13th century. Another attraction is Erdenezuu; the first Buddhist Monastery built from the ruins of Kharakhorum in 16th century but ruined under political repression. The prayer’s and ceremonial temples are true architectural wonder storing old Mongolia Buddhist heritage. Afterwards, take the chance to unwind today with a trip to the Tsenkher Hot Springs. Settle in tourist Ger camp and enjoy a natural hot spring bath. and settle in the tourist Ger camp.

Day 3: KHUSTAIN NATIONAL PARK /390KM - 6 HOURS/ (B,L,D)

Stop At: Khustain Nuruu National Park, Ulaanbaatar Mongolia
Today we will drive to Khustain National park which is a home of last truly wild horses. Upon arrival, we will visit a small museum displaying a collection of photos and videos about the wild horse. Take a small hike to observe wild horses; with light belly and darker back, with a long, dark stripe on the back from the withers to the base of the tail. Stay overnight in tourist Ger camp.

Day 4: TERELJ – CHINGGIS KHAN STATUE COMPLEX – ULAANBAATAR /220 KM – 4 HOURS/ (B,L)

Stop At: Gorkhi-Terelj National Park, Ulaanbaatar Mongolia
Continue the journey to Terelj National park; beautiful green landscape with unique Rocky Mountains and rivers. The first stop will be at turtle rock; 24 m height rock formation like a turtle. Afterward, we will take a very short drive to Ariyapala meditation center. Explore the center with a stunning hike from crossing the short trail bridge to 108 stairs. Afterwards, we will drive to eastern Mongolia visiting Chinggis khan statue complex; the largest equestrian statue made by 250 tons of steel. Enjoy fascinating view of the statue and surrounding area from horse neck. Drive back to Ulaanbaatar and you will be transferred to the hotel.
