Day 1: Arrival in Ulaanbaatar

Pass By: Ulaanbaatar Central Post Office, Peace Avenue, Ulaanbaatar 21121 Mongolia
Welcome to Mongolia! At the airport you will be welcomed by our city guide and transfer to hotel. Afternoon our expedition begin with introduce our capital. Visit main Buddhist center Gandan Monastery, Museum of National History and Zaisan Hill where you can enjoy panoramic view of city.

Day 2: Olgii

Pass By: Altai Tavan Bogd National Park, China Border-Sagsai Rd Olgii city, Olgiy 83120 Mongolia
Early morning take a flight to Altai region of Mongolia. The Bayan-Olgii province is located in westernmost part of country. Major population are nomadic Kazakh people, who famous for ancient traditional hunting with golden eagle. At the airport meet your local team: English speaking tour guide, expedition driver and cook. Drive to Sagsai village. Visit nomadic eagle hunter. Explore more about nomadic people and their way of living.

Day 3: White-River valley, South entrance of NP

After breakfast say "Good bye" to eagle hunter's family and drive to Altai Tavan Bogd National Park. The western Mongolia is also famous as a "Heart of Altai". The land of gorgeous Altai Mountain range. Arrive to White-River valley. This is south entrance of NP. Set up our camp by the river.

Day 4: Trek to base camp of NP

Today we will trek to main camping side of Altai Tavan Bogd. All camping and cooking equipment will be transported by camels. Also local Tuvan herders will support us. The name of "Tavan Bogd" literally mean "Holly five". From the base camp you have opportunity to enjoy panoramic view of majestic Altai mountains, which includes the highest peak in Mongolia and second biggest glacier in central Asia.

Day 5: Acclimatization day

Optionally today we can explore Potanin glacier. This is biggest glacier in Mongolia with number of crevasses which are over 200 meter deep. Our mountain guide is very experienced who will be our group leader.

Day 6: Climb to Malchin Peak 4050 meter (13287.4 f)

Pass By: Altai Tavan Bogd National Park, China Border-Sagsai Rd Olgii city, Olgiy 83120 Mongolia
The Mount Malchin is lowest in "Holly Five Peaks". The peak is famous for it is located right on borderline between Mongolia and Russia. Also it is possible to climb on top without any climbing equipment. It takes around 6 hours in total. Back to camp.

Day 7: High camp

Today we will head to "High Camp" through Potanin glacier. The mountain guide will lead the group. Also local porter guys will help us with our extra baggage. Over 10% of world snow leopard live in Mongolia and Altai Mountain range is home for them. It is possible see snow leopard in this area. Stay overnight in tent

Day 8: Climb to Mount Khuiten 4374 meter (14350.39 f )

Wake up early morning at 5:00 AM. It is important to make sure that weather is going to be alright. Climb to Khuiten peak. It takes around 4 hours in total. Enjoy breathtaking view of surrounding. On the top you have opportunity see three country at same time. China on the South and Russia on the North. Back to base camp

Day 9: Go back to White-River valley.

Trekking along the White-River. The color of the river is milky white, because it takes start from the glacier also mineral dust make the color white. It is not drinkable. Enjoy gorgeous Altai Mountains. All baggage will transported by camels.

Day 10: Drive to Khoton and Khurgan lakes

Pass By: Altai Tavan Bogd National Park, China Border-Sagsai Rd Olgii city, Olgiy 83120 Mongolia
This is South part of Altai Tavan Bogd National Park. The absolutely similar two lakes with connected short canal. The local people call this place "Sirgaly" which means gorgeous nature. On the way we will make stop for some archaeological places. Explore ancient Stone Man monument from Blue Turk who lived in this are in VIII-X century. Also petroglyphs from Bronze Age. We will stay by the river. Enjoy wild nature of Altai region.

Day 11: Waterfall Valley

Pass By: Altai Tavan Bogd National Park, China Border-Sagsai Rd Olgii city, Olgiy 83120 Mongolia
Drive around a hour and stay by the nomadic Kazakh family. Learn more about nomadic lifestyle and their ancient traditions based on Islamic religion. Afternoon we will hike to Waterfall Valley where we can enjoy two waterfalls and scenery wild nature. In Kazakh culture they cut a sheep for special guest and have traditional meal Besbarmakh, which is literally means "five finger". Try traditional meal with your arms. After dinner warm discus with nomadic Kazakh people.

Day 12: Return to Olgii.

After breakfast we will head to Olgii. On your arrival transfer to hotel. Take a hot shower after long travel. Farewell dinner at local restaurant.

Day 13: Return flight to Ulaanbaatar.

Pass By: Ulaanbaatar Central Post Office, Peace Avenue, Ulaanbaatar 21121 Mongolia
Fly back to Ulaanbaatar. Our UB guide will meet you at the airport and drop off to hotel. Dinner with our UB guide. And if you want to buy some souvenirs or do some shopping we are happy make a company. Visit traditional concert and enjoy famous Mongolian throat sinning.
