Overnight Stay at Terelj National Park & Chinggis Khaan Statue with Photographer

Day 1: You will be leaving the city early in the morning to take advantage of the better asphalt road to arrive at Chonjinboldog area where Chinggis Khan Monument is located within an hour. You will see true nomadic lifestyle as soon as you travel outside of the city of Ulaanbaatar. Chinggis Khan Monument is an extremely tall stainless steel statue of Ghengiis Khaan. You may take an elevator ride up to the horse neck with spectacular view of the surrounding area. There is also a small archaeology museum in the base of the statue with ubiquitous souvenir shops. You may try on traditional Mongolian costumes at the museum. After visiing Statue, we will drive to a nomadic family near the area. At their home, we will have traditional Mongolian meal as a lunch. After lunch we will experience with some Mongolian culture and lifestyles there. Then, we will move to Terelj National Park which is one of the beautiful national parks of Mongolia. The park also has a Buddhist monastery that is open to visitors. Park wildlife includes brown bears and over 250 species of birds and you will have a chance to see a lot of animals such as yaks, sheep, goats and horses hanging out around this National park. The Tuul River flows through the park. The park has interesting formatted rocks and includes two famous formations named for things they resemble: Turtle Rock and the Old Man Reading a Book. At the Terelj National Park, we will stay for the night at the ger tourist camp and have traditional dinner. If the sky is clear, we will see the beautiful night there.

Day 2: After having breakfast, we will do a day horseback riding to the rock called Turtle and the Buddhist temple where we will hike during rest of the morning. After that, We will ride back to the Tourist Camp and have a lunch. In the afternoon we will leave to Ulaanbaatar city.
