White Adventure in Ushuaia with Sled Dogs

Description: Departure from your hotel in Ushuaia to Valle de Tierra Mayor. It´s a great snowy valley from where we begin the journey on sledges pulled by Huskies Dogs. After crossing the valley we enter the forest through an old path of Lengas. In the the middle of this centenary Lengas forest we arrive to Refugio El Hachero (a small log cabin heated by firewood). 

We say "goodbye" to the Huskies and our guide helps us to put on our rackets (without rackets we would not be able to walk due to the thickness of the snow that normally reaches the subway). Our objective is the Alvear Icefall and Valle viewpoint to enjoy an amazing white landscape. Return to the refuge is faster and funny it is downhill and culminates in the refuge El Hachero. Once in the refuge we recover energies with a hot chocolate. From the refuge of El Hachero we return to the Tierra Mayor valley walking with snowshoes.

The activity stats 8.30 am, and takes 5 hours. You have 2.5 kilometers made by sled dogs, and 1:30 to 2:00 walking with rackets
