Stop At: Salar de Uyuni, Uyuni Bolivia
Pick-up from the Uyuni´s Bus Station and hotel terminal is included; please make sure to inform your travel agent about your
transportation company and schedules. The tour starts at 10:30 in the morning at Tres Gigantes' office.
The first place to visit is the Train Cemetery, where you can see old railway machines that represent the first railroads of Bolivia that
were abandoned. Then visit the town of Colchani, this place is perfect for shopping crafts, you can also see the extraction and refining of salt. You will walk into the first Hotel made out entirely of
salt. There is a stop to take pictures in the majestic Salar de Uyuni, which is 10,582km2, later the tour continues on the Incahuasi Island, an island of giant cactus with thousands of years of life; in this place, you make a walk to the top, where there is a spectacular
view of the Salar. At the end of the day: The group returns to Uyuni
around 17:30 pm.
