This is about a 2 hour bus ride with not much to actually do. Would recommend a private tour of the city vs. the hop on hop off.

The hop on hop off bus in Malta was good, but there was a lot of time where we just listened to music rather than the history of the area. We would have appreciated more information and less music. The music was very enjoyable though.

This was not what we expected. We got on the first bus that was a little ways from the cruise port. We found out on the ship their were two different hop on hop off companies. One Malta City seemed to be sanctioned by the ship, and then ours. We got to the first stop fine, which was Mdina, and spent about an hour. Waited for next bus, it was about 20 minutes late, couldnt get on as it was full. Then had to wait another 45 minutes for bus. After getting on driver said it would take over 2 hours to get back to, so we just stayed on, worried if we got off, we wouldnt get back on time to ship. Got to see a lot of the country due to so much driving, but wouldnt to again.

The hours of operation were too limited for the amount of time we were there. Would liked to have had more time to use the buses
