About this activity
During this cruise you shall cruise past Valletta, Malta's Capital City, the Grand Harbour Entrance, Marsascala Bay, St. Thomas Bay, Island Bay and Peter's Pool, past Delimara Point and Marsaxlokk Bay, Malta's largest fishing village and past the Blue Grotto, giving you a view of these fascinating colorful caves. Your vessel also cruises past the imposing Dingli Cliffs and the little island of Filfla and past some of Malta's most popular sandy beaches.
A particular attraction is Anchor Bay. This rocky cove incorporates ‘Popeye's Village', the actual set of the film ‘Popeye' which was shot on location.
There will be a stop at the Island of Comino in the crystal clear waters of the famous Blue Lagoon. Whilst your stay on Comino, optional boat rides to the caves are organised. Tickets for this fantastic 25 minute excursion are sold on board.
You also cruise past Mellieħa Bay and St. Paul's Island, where St. Paul was shipwrecked in 60AD, then on to Salina Bay, St. Andrew's, the casino and the picturesque St. Julian's Bay.
A buffet spread and wine is served by your cruise chef and stewards. The rest of the day is spent sunbathing and swimming. One may also go ashore to roam around the island and swim.
The cruise return to Sliema is at approximately 5.30pm (summer).

Overpriced! It's 20 euros if purchased on island. Company was a no show for pickup. After calling them they sent a guy to pick us up, but sent him to our hotel after telling us to walk to a restaurant. Was then dropped off at the wrong boat. Intercom on boat terrible. No transfer back to the hotel.
The Captain Morgan's tour is great. Wait until you get there to buy your ticket. I was charged DOUBLE the price by Viator. The price is 20 Euro. Do not pay more than that. There are multiple companies selling the tour to Comino. Comino is beautiful and a wonderful experience. Very crowded on the weekends. If someone suggests the sandy beach Santa Maria on the other side of the island you can skip it. It's small and it isn't close the the blue lagoon. The tour does not give you any descriptions of what you are passing by on the ride to Comino. They want to sell you a side trip for that.
The pick up was at 09.15am. We had to call 2 times till the transfer appeared an hour later. The lunch on boat was poor, the tour was not as excited as it is described
