About this activity
Leave your selected Malta hotel by air-conditioned minibus/coach and travel to Sliema. Step on board your sightseeing cruise boat and take to the water to cruise around the city’s peninsula. As you relax out on deck, listen to your the commentary and learn all about Valletta’s sights, culture and history.
Glide past the Grand Harbour – Malta’s main port – and look out for the famous Three Cities, a collective name given to the fortified ancient cities of Cospicua, Vittoriosa and Senglea on the south side of the peninsula. Hear how their people successfully fought the Ottoman Invasion during the Great Sieges, and learn of the Knights of St John who rewarded them.
After spending roughly 1.5 hours cruising past the historical forts, battlements and creeks, return to port and finish your day with free time to stroll along Sliema's main shopping area or relax in one of the main cafes before your return transfer at 6pm. Your tour finishes with a hotel drop-off.

The commentary on the boat was very much inaudible, so barely learnt any history. The tour guys also did not even bother to introduce themselves when picking us up. We felt it was very much overpriced and not personal for the price paid. The cruise itself was very short, spent the same amount of time exploring Sliema on our own. There are plenty of other tour groups in Malta, so I would suggest making your own way to Sliema which is easy to get to by bus or taxi and not that expensive, then going on a cruise.

Great relaxing way to see a lot and take photos from the water.
Would have liked a more extended sightseeing tour, with stops. Was short and by car only.
The guide for the bus portion tried hard to make up for the inaudible commentary on the cruise portion.
