We took the evening tour on the big bus. It's supposed to be about an hour and a half. It took around an hour and 10 minutes. But that is not a problem. We covered a lot of ground and saw a lot of Victoria. The recorded information that was played during the tour was detailed and there was not a lot of quiet time. So needless to say we found out a lot about Victoria. The bus was full, so I'm glad we took a taxi for a flat rate of $10 to downtown at the starting point of the tour. The bus was nearly full when we departed, at around our second or third stop it did stop at the bus stop near the cruise terminal. The remaining people did wind up fitting on the bus but they were separated from one another. So I recommend you go down to the ticket booth in town. It is near the visitor center. When the bus arrived it was a lot more rundown than the other tour companies. When we stepped on board and sat in our seats it was similar to a modified elementary school size bus. I am about 5'11" and my knees could not fit without turning sideways otherwise I would hit the seat in front of me. The back half of the bus is open, the front half of the bus has a roof over it. The driver was very nice. So if you are not tall, and you don't mind driving in a less pretty bus, it was a good price.

Its 45 minutes between buses and u have no idea if its early or late. The schedule is a guide. The audio recording and drivers are hard to hear.

We didn't get off the cruise ship until 8p (fault of cruise ship)…...then Customs is a long walk from the pier.....and my husband is disabled (uses a walker with wheels)…...and we never made it to customs (just too hard on him)….[we couldn't bring Carnival's wheel chair off the ship]……..so we turned around and went back to the ship!!!!!!…….so we paid for nothing......not Viator's fault...…...But, it is not a short walk!!!!!!!......and Carnival should be more organized and get disabled people off first!!!!…….Very sad that we missed Victoria!!!...….I gave it a 1 because we never got to take the tour...….I'm sure it was fabulous, though.

We visited Victoria 1 day while on a cruise. We purchased the tickets several months prior. We walked about 25 minutes from the pier to the initial bus stop, which was expected. We arrived around 10:30 am and were told the next bus would show up around 11 am. The bus showed up full with no seats. About half the people got off the bus just to validate their ticket and got right back on. There were about 30 people waiting to get on. No one was able to get on the bus. My wife decided to walk to the China town bus stop for the tour and arrived 10 minutes prior to the scheduled bus arrival. We waited 30 minutes and never saw a bus. We decided to walk 30 minutes to see a castle since the bus was useless. After viewing the castle, we waited at the bus stop for one last hope. We arrived about 10 minutes prior to the scheduled bus arrival and waited 30 minutes. The bus never showed up. A different hop on hop off bus company, the grey line, arrived and they let us get a ride back to the city center area. This was by far the worst hop-on hop-off company. I would not recommend to anyone.
