About this activity
Day 1: Vancouver to Tofino We take a ferry ride to Vancouver Island and then head west to the beaches of Pacific Rim National Park. Dinner is included tonight in Tofino.
Day 2: Tofino Free Day Free day optional activities include whale watching, soaking in natural hot springs, sea kayaking, and surfing.
Day 3: Tofino to Victoria Driving back across the island today, we stop in Coombs, Chemainus, and Duncan. Our destination is the provincial capital, Victoria.
Day 4: Victoria to Vancouver The day is free to explore the sights around the Inner Harbour. In the afternoon, we take another ferry back to Vancouver.
Day 5: Vancouver to Whistler Driving north, enjoy the views of mountain peaks, glaciers, and lakes, with stops at two waterfalls. Enjoy dinner in Whistler tonight, and then hit the bars!
Day 6: Whistler to Vancouver Try ziplining, bungee jumping, downhill mountain biking, or hiking during your free time today. We’ll head back to Vancouver in the afternoon.
Day 7: Vancouver to Kelowna Our first stop is at Bridal Veil Falls before we visit Hope. We continue to the Okanagan where we’ll go paddleboarding. Then it’s onto Kelowna for dinner.
Day 8: Kelowna to Banff Heading east, we’ll stop in Revelstoke, where you’ll have the option to go lake kayaking. Continuing onwards, we’ll enter the Rocky Mountains, Alberta and Banff National Park.
Day 9: Banff to Rampart Creek Our day begins with visits to Moraine Lake (seasonal), and Lake Louise! On the Icefields Parkway, we stop to see the Crowfoot Glacier, Bow Lake, Peyto Lake, and Mistaya Canyon, before arriving at our wilderness hostel at Rampart Creek. Relax in the wood-burning sauna, and enjoy a campfire under the stars tonight!
Day 10: Rampart Creek to Jasper We’ll enter Jasper National Park today, stopping at the Columbia Icefield where you can get up close to the Athabasca Glacier, or just enjoy the views from the Discovery Centre. Then it’s on to Maligne Canyon for a scenic hike, before rolling into the Jasper townsite.
Day 11: Jasper to Banff Heading back south, we stop at Athabasca Falls, Tangle Falls, and for a hike at Johnston Canyon, before arriving back in Banff. After an included dinner tonight, enjoy the great nightlife, or relax at the Banff Upper Hot Springs.
Day 12: Banff Free Day On your free day, enjoy the sights in the Banff area, hike a local mountain, or for an optional extra cost, go whitewater rafting, canoeing, or mountain biking.
Day 13: Banff to Kelowna Before leaving the Rockies, we’ll stop at Takakkaw Falls (seasonal), Emerald Lake and the Natural Bridge. Then it’s back to Kelowna for the night.
Day 14: Kelowna to Vancouver We’ll explore the Othello Tunnels outside Hope before returning to Vancouver.
