Fantastic trip in every way, I'd highly recommend. The lodge is absolutely beautiful, rustic and right on the lake which was frozen in February. Dinner was gourmet quality every night, and filled with great conversation with other guests from all over the world. There's a room full of parkas, gloves, and boots available to borrow so you're never cold. We stayed in the Metal Room which is at the front of the house and faced towards the early Northern Lights - it was a bit small but there are larger rooms available if you need. We felt really well taken care of by everyone. We did the snowmobiling and ice fishing tour, didn't catch any fish but has a great time on the ice. We went for a walk, roasted marshmallows and venison sausages, and zoomed around on the snowmobiles. It was an experience to drill a hole in the ice! We also did the dog sledding tour through a separate company, I'd skip it and go snowmobiling if you're trying to choose.
