About this activity
After pickup from your Vancouver Downtown hotel, board a luxury car or coach equipped with free Wi-Fi access and set out on a city tour of exploring the city of Vancouver with your private guide.

Continue on through Downtown. You will soon find yourself at the Canada Cruise ship terminal, the glorious Coal Harbour area, and finally the forest in city: Stanley Park, where you will see the beautiful Totem Poles carved by indigenous people, take a ride along the seawall and enjoy the views of North Vancouver.

We will drive across the Lions Gate Bridge from downtown to North Vancouver, to the Capilano Suspension Bridge, which is actually the number one attraction in Vancouver. Guests from all over the world enjoy the excitement of crossing the 137m swaying bridge, suspended 70m above Capilano River. From the end of November until the end of January the Capilano park is illuminated by Christmas Canyon Lights, and the tour itself turns into a fairy! Enjoy the decorated suspension bridge and the surroundings in the park.

You will also walk through the rain forest, experience the Tree Top Adventure walk between Douglas Firs and Red Cedar, learn why the trees are so tall and straight here, and cross the suspension bridge to the treetop walk high above the valley floor. This is not all. If you’re brave enough, don’t miss the newest attraction - The Cliff Walk! Walk along the cliffs, high above the raging waters and canyon, on a translucent walkway!

To get back to Vancouver we will cross the Lion's Gates Bridge again and find ourselves in Stanley Park to admire the city from the Prospect Point and to see the serene Lost Lagoon.

Continuing on along English Bay, arrive at the artistic Granville Island. Stroll the pretty streets of the island and enjoy the sights (and aromas) of art galleries, shops, restaurants and cafes. Pass two main stadiums: 2010 Olympic Games BC Place and the Hockey Legend Rogers Arena, see the sights of the Science World the Olympic Village. Go through the financial part of Vancouver Downtown to see the distinct architecture, drive through the second largest Chinatown in North America, and then visit the historical site of Gastown - home of the remarkable Steam Clock.

At the end of your 6-hour private sightseeing tour, return to the city downtown for drop-off at your hotel.
