Day 1 – Travel from Vancouver to Golden
7:00 am – Meet at the corner of West Cordova St & Seymour St opposite Waterfront Station
Hope 
Scenic Coquihalla Highway made famous for it’s winter conditions in “Highway Through Hell”
Kamloops lunch stop
Revelstoke rest stop 
6:30 pm Check in to the famous Mountain View Cabins**! These rustic cabins are tucked away in the forest overlooking the Columbia Valley with stunning views of the Selkirk Mountains. And the best part – – they are EXCLUSIVE to West Trek! No other tour companies stay here. 
Evening campfire with roasted marshmallows and s’mores plus as an added bonus you can enjoy a ‘glow hike’ on snowshoes – another West Trek exclusive!
 
Day 2 – Golden to Banff
7:30 am – Breakfast at the cabins (included)
Travel through majestic Yoho National Park en route to Banff National Park.
Stop at the famous Lake Louise and go Ice Skating* (optional extra) on the frozen lake or explore the stunning chateau and area.
Enjoy a breath taking ice hike through Johnston Canyon to the Lower Falls which are best seen from inside a cave!
Arrive in the beautiful mountain village of Banff surrounded by towering snow capped peaks.
You have the chance to do the world-famous Banff Gondola* (optional extra) for a majestic sight-seeing experience on top of Sulphur Mountain.
Check into our hotel in downtown Banff.
Free time to explore the town, shop for souvenirs and have dinner with new friends at one of the many restaurants in town.
Later in the evening join your tour guide for a ‘party night on the town’!
 
Day 3 – Banff to Golden
Today you have the option to ski or snowboard at the World Famous Lake Louise Ski Resort. You can catch a shuttle from town and we will pick you up in the afternoon. Lake Louise Ski Resort was awarded “Canada’s best Ski Resort” by the 2017 World Ski Awards.
For those not skiing or boarding:
Visit picturesque Lake Minnewanka and Two Jack Lake.
You have the option to go for a relaxing and refreshing soak in the Banff Hot Springs*.
Free time in Banff 
4:00 pm – pick up the skiers and boarders at Lake Louise.
Visit frozen Emerald Lake in Yoho National Park – – one of the most underrated lakes in the Rocky Mountains.
After stopping in Golden for some free time and dinner we check back in to our Mountain View Cabins.
Last night campfire – this is often referred to as the best night of the tour, where you can party and enjoy the cabin atmosphere with your new friends from the tour.
 
Day 4 – Golden to Vancouver
7:30 am – Breakfast at the cabins.
Stop in Revelstoke.
Kamloops lunch stop.
Arrive back in Vancouver
