Great way to see Vancouver. Enjoyed the scenery. Would recommend this tour. Enjoyed Stanley Park. Beautiful area.
Two tour operators have combined to give access to two city tours. A total of over two hours .. some drivers have a tip jar and are very chatty. They helped us out by giving useful info. The tour itself is worth it .. then there were some freebies thrown in.. access to the Chinese garden and the tower view. One thing to bear in mind is that the viewing tower shuts at 6pm .. very surprising for European visitors.. plan accordingly. We chose to do the entire tour at 9 am and that would help us decide where to get off later on. Then we ate opposite Canada place (where your tour purchase is validated) down the steps there's a large food hall with all types of cuisine represented. It was s great day!
You can either take the park tour or the city tour or both. Your day pass is good for both. We did the park tour and part of the tour is perimeter if Stanley Park. The bus comes with recorded narration which was pretty good. The busses were running about 15 minutes apart so we never had to wait a long time. Our package included the Vancouver Lookup and the Chinese garden. Both were good but I was glad there were part of the deal instead of the list price. If you go the garden there is a house and the garden. The garden portion is free.

Good drivers, information, and routes. Only problem buses were often crouded, they could have used more buses.
Loved Gastown and Stanley Park. Stayed at The Century Plaza Hotel. Perfect location. Walk out the door and there is the bus stop for the hop on hop off bus.
The commentary is so,so. They had just put on a third bus so the stops were every 45 minutes. As the season gets busier,, they add more buses and they stop more frequently. All in all, a pretty well run HOHO.
