Whatcom Falls Park is a 241-acre (0.98 km2) park in Bellingham, Washington, United States. The falls are on Whatcom Creek, which leads from Lake Whatcom to Bellingham Bay. The park has four sets of waterfalls and several miles of well maintained walking trails.

Tennis courts (upper parking lot)
Athletic fields (upper parking lot)
Picnic Tables — Picnic shelters can be rented from the parks department office.
Two playgrounds — one at each the upper and lower parking lots.

Located on the north end of Chuckanut Drive, within the southern city limits of Bellingham, Fairhaven Historic District is known for its colorful 19th-century architecture and history. In recent years, the district has blossomed into a lively getaway destination and residential community.

Many red brick relics of Fairhaven’s Victorian-era survive in the federally designated historic district. May of these are now home to a variety of unique local shops, art galleries, restaurants and pubs and one of the best independent bookstores in the nation.

This gorgeous loop hike has it all: big views of Mounts Baker and Shuksan, as well as the North Cascades, alpine lakes for swimming, and well-maintained trail winding through meadows and heather. And with wildflowers in spring, blueberry bushes for trail-side snacking in late summer and blazing color in the fall, you can't pick a bad season to visit.
