DetailsVaranasi is a photographer's haven because the ancient city is full of character - with old streets and shops, sadhus, decrepit buildings and beautiful ghats. Start your photo walk at Dashashwamedh Ghat. Capture people performing prayer rituals, the sadhus and the general colourful and vibrant life of the place. Walk through Vishwanath lane and move towards Godowlia Market, an old area of narrow bylanes, small shops and dilapidated buildings. Photographing the Ganga Aarti at Rajendra Prasad Ghat will be a unique experience. Visit Manikarna Ghat and Man Mandir too. End the trip by paying a visit to Pashupatinath Temple or Nepali Mandir, as its popularly called.
