One of the most famous temples of Varanasi, Kashi Vishwanath is dedicated to Lord Shiva. One of the twelve Jyotirlingas(holiest temples of Lord Shiva), this temple is situated on the banks of River Ganga. This temple is also named Kashi Vishwanath Temple as Varanasi was named Kashi during ancient times.

Stop At: Nepali Temple (Kathwala Temple), Lalita Ghat,, Varanasi India

Dedicated to Lord Shiva, Nepali Temple has great importance for Hindus. This temple is also named Shri Samrajeswar Pashupatinath Mahadev Mandir, Kanthwala Mandir, and Mini Khajuraho. Taking three decades to be completed, the temple is made up of terracotta, stone, and wood.

Situated alongside River Ganga, Manikarnika Ghat is one of the sacred ghats in India. In Hinduism, death is considered to be the gateway to another life as a result of one's Karma and believed that when cremated here they attain Moksha and break the cycle of rebirth.

Stop At: Jantar Mantar, Near Dasashwamedha Ghat, Varanasi India

Jantar Mantar in Varanasi was built in 1737 by Maharaja Jai Singh II of the Kingdom of Amber(Later called Jaipur, Capital City of Rajasthan). Maharaja built five such observatories, and Varanasi has one of them. It was built with a purpose to observe the sun, stars and other planets and know the local time and times of eclipses.
