Departure from San Marco area by private boat. Admire the Biennale Gardens, the Arsenale and Murano by boat, before reaching San Francesco del Deserto. Rich of history and spirituality, this island looks like a green bunch emerging from the water between Burano and Sant’Erasmo. Since 1230, it has been housing a friar monastery founded by San Francesco d’Assisi on his return from the Holy Land. It was there that the Miracle of the birds took place. Get back on board and reach Mazzorbo for a wine tasting. Lunch in a typical Venetian restaurant in Treporti. After lunch, return to Venice.
