From Venice, TOP FOOD&WINE experience visiting local cheese factories and Prosecco wineries

From Venice or in the hinterland area of Treviso or Padua, you will discover with us the tradition of the local regional Cheese, visiting a cheese farm and its ageing rooms, where some historical working tools are collected. The origin of this dairy dates back one hundred years ago and today they produce conventional and organic cheeses from goat, cow and buffalo milk.

We will finish the visit with a tasting of the Cheese Bar, combining for sure a good Prosecco Valdobbiadene-Conegliano DOCG. 

We will follow the Prosecco Road to visit a cellar and to meet the producer, who will explain the "Martinotti" Method and the tradition of the production of this great italian sparkling wine. 

After lunch - that we will propose a traditional Osteria - we will visit the World Award-Winning firm, specialized in Cheese refining. 

The tradition of this company is very suggestive, and dates back to the First World War's period when, due to a survival issue, the farmers who lived in the "Piave" area, began to hide the cheese under the fermenting vinasse and then they discovered that - incredibly - the cheese became better... From here started the tradition of "UBRIACO" cheese - which means "drunk", and the history of Mr. Antonio and his company. It will be very fasinating discover his Cheese Paradise and tasting it with a good glass of the wines from Piave area.
