Itinerary

Day 1: Venice

Stop At: Piazza San Marco, 31024 Venice Italy
Arrive in Venezia, La Serenissima, Queen of the Adriatic, city of canals and palaces. Meet the guide in St. Mark's Square for a walking tour of Venice (meeting point in St. Mark's Square). Walk around the area between St. Mark's Square and the Rialto Bridge, and pass through la Fenice Theatre, Scala del Bovolo, Ponte di Rialto. At the end of the visit, embark on a 30-minute Gondola ride along the small Canals of Venice. Overnight at Hotel

Day 2: Venice Islands Tour

Stop At: Piazza San Marco, 31024 Venice Italy
After breakfast, take the Venice Islands tour from Alilaguna's Pier at St. Mark’s waterfront (Reach the meeting point for the tour at St. Mark's Square on your own). Embark on a motorboat and visit the island of Murano, where one can watch the antique art of glass making. Next, visit the next island called Burano where you get to see its colorful houses, once owned by fishermen before moving on to the last island, Torcello. This island brings you back to the Middle Ages, at the time of the Attila's invasions. Visit its old cathedral and be mesmerized of its atmosphere of remote Venetian past. Overnight in Venice Mestre.

Day 3: Venice – Rome 

Stop At: Piazza San Bernardo, Via XX Settembre, Rome Italy
After having breakfast at the hotel, get on the train for your transfer to Rome. Check-in to the hotel before starting the Rome by Night tour (meeting point near your hotel and drop off near your hotel). Leave from Piazza San Bernardo adorned by Moses’ Fountain and then head to Piazza della Repubblica, Via Veneto, Palazzo Margherita, Porta Pinciana, Villa Borghese, Trevi Fountain, where you will stop for a visit. Next, continue along Via Quattro Fontane. From Via Nazionale, descending towards Piazza Venezia, you will see the Memorial to King Vittorio Emanuele II and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. The itinerary will also touch the Capitol, the Imperial Forum, the Colosseum, the Palatine Hill, the Aventine Hill, the Circus Maximus and the Tiberina Island. The visit then continues to the Gianicolum Hill, to admire one of the most beautiful panoramas of Rome. Finally, you will arrive at the Basilica of St. Peter crossing the Tiber and finding by side the imponent fortress of Castel S. Angelo. Return to your hotel. Overnight in Rome

Day 4: Vatican City

Stop At: Sistine Chapel, Citta del Vaticano 1, 00120 Vatican City Italy
After breakfast, enjoy a tour of Vatican Museum and the Sistine Chapel (tickets included). Pick up from your hotel and drop off in the centre of Rome. The rest of the day is free. Return to your hotel. Overnight in hotel

Day 5: Rome (or opt for an excursion to Pompeii)

Stop At: Pompeii - Archaeological Area., Porta Marina Superiore (Via Villa dei Misteri) Piazza Immacolata, Piazza Porta Marina inf., 80045 Pompeii Italy
Have breakfast at the hotel and then spend a day on your own in Rome or you can opt for an excursion to Naples, Pompei or Capri on a Private or Group basis as per your convenience. Overnight at Hotel. *Please mention under 'Special Requirement' if you would like to take the excursion to Naples, Pompeii, and Capri (private or group basis).
