Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Centro Storico di Castelfranco Veneto, Via Riccati 14, 31033, Castelfranco Veneto Italy

At approximately 1 hour driving distance by back road, the town of Castelfranco Veneto welcomes you with its clock tower and with its two entrance gates surrounded by crenelated walls. With a licensed local guide you will visit a town that preserves the colors and the fragrances of an ancient history. The center of the castle is a little jewel, with its diverse styles of architecture from those with a stamp from the middle Ages to edifices with a matrix of the eighteenth-century.

Castelfranco Veneto is the place of birth of Giorgione that was the artist that starts the Renaissance painting in the Veneto area, famous for his canvases of unrivaled beauty, from his Altarpiece to the Tempest.

Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Stop At: Villa Emo, Via Stazione 5, 31050 Fanzolo Italy

Your tour continues to visit Villa Emo, a Palladio's masterpiece reported in the UNESCO World Heritage list. Most probably the construction of the villa Emo was in between the years 1557 and 1560. The interior frescoes of the main rooms were made by the painter Zelotti that was partner and collaborator of Veronese.

Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Duomo di Cittadella, Piazza Pierobon, 35013 Cittadella Italy

In the afternoon you will reach Cittadella. A well preserved town of the Middle Ages built by the Carraresi lords of Padua in the years 1220-21 where they create their military and administrative strategic center. The position of this walled town is at the intersection of two important roads: the one that connects Padua to Bassano from south to north, and the road that is the directrix from Treviso to Vicenza that goes from east to west. This second road was part of the larger system of the Roman Decumanus Maximus Via Postumia.

The main attraction of this town are the walls where the walkway still entirely viable.

Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes
