About this activity
The Motor Valley tour starts from Venice where you will be picked up by our high standard minibus or private car depending on number of passengers. Departure is at 9am and the journey to reach the Lamborghini Factory takes approximately 2 hours.

You will be greeted by the museum staff "professional guides" upon arrival at the factory. Skip-the-line entry is guaranteed and you will be guided in any language. Enjoy a tour through the outstanding "Centro Eccellenza" where you will relive the past and the present of the Lamborghini Automobili S.p.A. The museum is a true collection of stunning models such as Miura, Countach, Diablo, Murcielago, Aventador, Sesto Elemento and so much more.

In the early afternoon, you will be hosted by a nearby restaurant where a traditional Bolognese lunch will be specially reserved for you. After lunch you will have the option to enjoy an espresso while you or other members take a test drive at the famous Lamborghini Bar (at own expense). The optional test drive will take you onto country roads with a co-pilot for approximately 7 mi (11 km) in a Hurracan and Aventador.

At around 3pm, you will be transferred to the Pagani Automobili Factory, the finest carbon fiber atelier in the world. The most expensive, stunning and elegant cars in the Motor Valley will be available for you to get an up-close view. Enjoy a guided tour in the magic factory where you'll experience true craftsmen working and dressing the chassis of the new Huayra Pagani car. If you are interested in replacing Pagani with visiting the original Lamborghini Family private collection, this is possible option (subject to availability).

After the visit, it's time to return to Venice. Arrival in Venice is expected around 6:30pm.

Please note: you must indicate your interest in the optional test drive and/or visiting the Exclusive Assembly lines in the Pagani Headquarters Factory (40,00 euro each to be paid directly to the guide on day of tour a regular receipt will be given).

Avoid the hassle of getting to Bologna and from factory to factory by yourself, this is a much better way! Caterina went out of her way to make this tour happen for me after a change of dates and I can't thank her enough for doing so. The Lamborghini and Pagani tours are everything I'd hoped they'd be, if you love Supercars you need to do this. Add in the opportunity to drive a Hurucan on the nearby roads no speed cameras and this is a once in a lifetime opportunity for most of us

Katerina was an awesome guide/facilitator of the tour. The lunch was exceptional and the Lamborghini tour was beyond the expectations of our family with our engineering student specifically wanting to see the assembly line. The test drive was totally worth the cost. Perhaps a section needs to be added to specifically accommodate vegetarians/those with food allergies for the lunch as it was unknown that the other family on the tour was vegetarian, unless they could have put this notation in a comments box. This tour was one of the highlights of our Italian vacation and we recommend it highly!

Really enjoyed our day out! It is pricey BUT worth it as it is a different type of tour and you are treated as a personal guest, by your tour leader who has a passion for her subject. The tour is also a welcome change from the history based tours and cultural overload of a Venice trip. Particularly enjoyed the pasta making which was hilarious, and the patience of our tutor should be recognised.

A must if you're a car fanatic plus, it's an easy day trip from Venice. Great access to both the Lamborghini and Pagani factories, expert tour guide, and a nice lunch make this a 5-star excursion. We managed to squeeze this excellent excursion into our week-long visit of Venice. Both my husband I were surprised we could get to both the Lamborghini and Pagani factories and back to Venice in one day. Caterina was our personal tour guide for the entire day and took us to the Pagani and Lamborghini factories, a local and authentic lunch, and we even had time for my husband to drive a Huracan for a quick blast on the country roads. Few things you should know: it's a full day, but it's surprising the number of boxes you check tours of both facilities, including the Lamborghini museum and the Pagani factory floor, time to shop for memorabilia, and no-wait access wherever you go. As well, Caterina is an ideal tour guide - she worked for years at both Lamborghini and Pagani as their in-house tour guide and knows their cars, history, details, and the people exceedingly well. Finally, we'd recommend paying the extra charge for the Lamborghini production line tour, and if you're up for a little speed, a test drive of the Lamborghini Huracan. Great tour!

The tour was a little different from the description. The tour we had initially booked included a trip to the Lamborghini Museum followed by a Tortellini class and home made lunch. The class was not available on the day we wanted to go so Katerina Iessi, the local operator in Venice who works with Viator gave us a nice alternative. She substituted the Tortellini class with a trip the Pagani factory, which was a delight for all of us, especially for our son. Katerina drove us from Piazzale Roma, the bus station in Venice, to Motor Valley in a nice and comfortable vehicle. On the way she told us about Bologna as well. After getting to Motor Valley, we first visited the Lamborghini Museum for an hour, then we had lunch at a place across the street food is great in Italy pretty much everywhere, and then we visited the Pagani factory. The girl who gave the tour at Pagani was very good, and spoke very well. We were allowed to take as many pictures of the cars as we wanted, but understandably not of the assembly line. Pagani makes cars that are a blend of art and science, as you discover very quickly on your tour. After the Pagani tour we went back to the Lamborghini Museum, and visited the gift shop. The gift shop is overpriced as your would expect just because everything has the Lamborghini logo on it. Katerina then returned us safely back to Venice. We would highly recommend the Motor Valley Tour any variation of it if you like exotic cars. Katerina is a very nice lady and if you get an opportunity to tour with her, please do.
