Original Venice Walk

The first piece of this walking tour will feature St. Mark's Square, including a visit to St. Mark's Basilica including skip the line tickets. Here you will learn about the Doge's Palace (exterior only), Bell Tower, Clock Tower and the famous Bridge of Sighs. This spot is a great introduction to the history of Venice. Then, you will explore Hidden Venice and escape the thousands of tourists. Walk through narrow passageways, over little bridges, and along winding canals following a route peppered with important attractions that illustrate that Venice is one giant open-air museum. Your guide will narrate the unique story of Venice as you traverse the city. In Campo Santa Maria Formosa, you will learn about Venetian Architecture and the Venetian Mercantile Empire. Then, you will visit the Cannaregio district, where you can gaze at the most beautiful well-head in Venice and the Pantheon of Venice (only exterior). Throughout the tour, you'll learn about Venetian personalities like Marco Polo that made this city of stone such a magical and unique place. The tour will end at the Rialto Bridge.
