Venice Rialto Market tour & cooking show

A fabulous cooking show with a celebrated Italian chef: Ferdinando Santi. He worked all over the world in the world-wide famous restaurants and he usually participate to the National TV for acclaimed cooking shows (just look for his name on YouTube!).

The activity starts at Rialto: the most ancient fish market of Europe (dates about 1.000 B.C)! Ferdinando will accompany you along the many fish stores teaching the best way to distinguish the real fresh fish. Here you will buy the ingredients to prepare the delicious dishes! Act as a true Venetian moving through the labyrinth of “calli (narrow Venetian street) and crossing the Grand Canal

with the public gondola boat. You will discover the NOT touristic side of the city.

After the Rialto market you will go to the kitchen (close to Saint Mark’s Square) where Chef Ferdinando will show how to prepare yummy fish dishes in according to the traditional Venetian cuisine tradition.
