About this activity
Enjoy and fun and informative tour around the eateries and monuments of Venice. You will taste delicious food and visit some of the city's most fascinating sites.

The tour starts from San Marco district and ends in Campo Santa Margherita You will be exploring the local market around Rialto Bridge with its colorful fruit, vegetable and fish stalls. See Campo San Polo, the Basilica dei Frari, Campo San Bartolomeo and much more.

You will taste a wide range of typical specialties, from the well-known cicchetti to regional cheese, from buranelli biscuits to traditional cakes. Did you know that Tiramisù was invented in Venice? Come and taste the original one!

Cicchetti are instead tapas-like dishes that Venetians often eat during their free time with friends in cozy small hosterias. All the food is included in the price (not drinks).

It is strongly suggested to take this experience on the first day of your stay. You will profit from the precious suggestions from your guide on where to eat, go our and spend your free time in the city. You will love it!

Our tour was on Tuesday 30th July. Ana or guide was most pleasant and full of interesting facts about Venice. She took us to places we would never had tried for food and was educated in Venetian food. Most of it was very nice and even though I don't eat fishy food Ana very kindly offered me an alternative. The tour was about the right length and not too long (2.5hrs) it was just street food so don't expect restaurant food.We both enjoyed it. Thans Ana.

Alice was our tour guide. She was very personable and knowledgeable about Venice. She shared about the food we were going to eat and she also stopped to talk about the history and importance of the buildings and sights we passed. Some of the foods we sampled were a plate of meat and cheese, polenta with seafood, cicchetti, and gelato. For the price of this tour, the delicious food and historical insight makes it a great value. We highly recommend this tour!

This tour was so much fun. We were able to try unique Venetian food. They give you a lot a wine and so I was feeling a bit tipsy by the end!

This was really fun, walking around Venice and tasting local foods. There are only a couple things I would change...Our guide was really nice and fun but he walked really fast so it was really easy to end up in the back of the large group and then have to run to catch up. This occurred especially in the market where there were crowds. It would have been better if the guide would have had a walkie talkie and us have a transmitter because he would get ahead of us and it was hard to hear what he was saying. The other thing is that I wish he would have ended the tour where we started. We ended somewhere else and he just said that it was easy to get back to where we started. However, Venice is difficult to get around in and it took us a long time to get back to where we started. So we spent a good amount of time being lost. Other than that, it was certainly worth it and the food was very good.

We absolutely LOVED Nico! We wish that we could hang out with him for the rest of our vacation. He was very informative, yet still upbeat and fun. We learned a lot of history and had some very tasty food! Our experience could not have been better! It was one of our most memorable days! Thank you!

This is a great tour for the price. We learned a lot about Venice the city and explored some food options that would not otherwise have ben known to us. Our guide, Frederica, was awesome.

Fun but could have been a little more in depth.
