Madonna di Campiglio and Dolomites Self-Guided Tour

You will be picked up at 7:30 AM at your Verona hotel or other accommodation to begin the drive to Madonna di Campiglio.

Madonna di Campiglio is sometimes called the 'pearl of the Dolomites,' an elegant village that is among the most important skiing hubs in the entire Alpine Arc.

This village used to be a highly sought-out resort for the well-to-do. Nowadays, this tourist location shows off its glamorous side mixed with sobriety. Its hotels are curated to the last detail and you can find several fashion boutiques in the town center, next to artisan workshops. The village lets visitors immerse themselves in nature with its great variety of lakes, brooks, Alpine pastures grazed by animals, and mountain shelters. These areas offer different spectacular tracks suitable for all. A particularly special experience is to get the Campiglio-Pinzolo Express, a cable car that will offer you a stunning view of the Dolomites.

The fairytale of the Princess Sissi and the Emperor Franz Joseph lives on in Madonna di Campiglio. Every February the Habsburg Carnival is held and visitors are taken back to the pinnacle of the Austrian court. Artworks shows are set for the occasion and so imperial processions of this magical reproduction of the long-past Habsburg Court.
