About this activity
Sirmione, Lake Garda
Called the Capri of Lake Garda, this peninsula town is surrounded by blue and green waters and is immersed in history and charm.

Rich in history, Sirmione is home to the medieval Scaligero Castle and the oldest Roman residence in Northern Italy, the Grotte di Catullo. Maria Callas, the famous Greek opera singer, loved this place so much that she bought a home here and enjoyed the same hot springs that visitors enjoy today. Landscapes are gorgeous here, as you have an 180-degree view of the lake. This is where you can find the cleanest waters of the southern part of the lake. With a beautiful beach right at the tip of the peninsula and winding stone alleyways, the only thing you need to end a photo walking tour is a Spritz at one of the many cafes in the shade of the castle and something to eat before we drive to...

Verona
Following the footsteps of Romeo & Juliet, fall in love with Verona through the eye of your camera.

Located in the heart of one of Italy's renowned wine regions, Verona is a gateway to the Alps and Lake Garda. As you get inspired by this little gem, your guide will take you through the picturesque centre, down cobblestone streets and along the river Adige, and for those who love hilltop sights, up to the Torricelle. Opportunities for photography abound. You will learn to scope for details, find the correct exposure for those picturesque but dark alleyways, capture the right timing for river currents and much more.

All of our tours are private one-on-one lessons so we can focus on your skills and interests. Your professional photographer guide is also an Italian local who can help you find the best spots to shoot while giving you advice and assistance to improve your photography. Expect to learn more about how your camera works, like manual setting, aperture, shutter speed, ISO as well as work on your creative side with tips on composition, framing and balance. Your guide will give you constant feedback to make sure you come away not only with great photos but also with a better understanding of photography.
