There is a lot of walking on uneven surfaces and narrow stairways, wearing comfortable shoes is key to enjoying the tour. Our guide was informative and bubbly.

We were made so welcome when we arrived at the Tourist Office. We then met Philippe and we found him very knowledgeable, fun and had a compelling way of talking. The gardens were way beyond all expectation. What a great day . Can highly recommend !

Easy to find meeting place - right next to McDonald's. It is a short walk to the palace. Our tour guide (Chloe in English) was great! She was super knowledgeable and made sure we were all accounted for in the busy areas. It was very busy inside some of the areas. The gardens are a must see - and require an additional fee on some days. The fountain shows are cool. There are food vendors inside the gardens. The paninis are delicious!

It was VERY easy to find the tour office right across the street from the train station. Our tour guide, Philippe, was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgable. We visited Versailles on a Tuesday and didn't realize that most of the museums in Paris are closed on Tuesday, so all the tourists head out to Versailles! Also, Tuesday is a day when there are fountain shows in the gardens, and many people come to see those. As a result, it was extremely crowded within the first rooms of the palace, and we were very grateful to have a skip-the-line ticket, because otherwise we would have waited a LONG time to even get inside. Philippe did an excellent job of telling us about the history of the palace and the royalty who lived there. He spoke into a microphone and all of us in his group had little receivers which fit over our ear so we could hear him. We particularly enjoyed getting outside into the gardens which were much less crowded and amazing!

Audrey was a pleasant and very knowledgeable guide. She was also very patient with members of the group and adept at steering us around the crowds.

Really pleased with the tour - beautiful palace and lots of great historical knowledge shown by the guide Laura. Laura is a great guide and full of enthusiasm so makes it easy to listen to her and really feel the history of the palace.

So glad we decided to buy tickets in advance and skip the lines as it was crowded. It was easy to find the Guidatour office next to the McDonalds and across from station. Our guide was Audrey and she did an amazing job - easy to understand her and just the right amount of interesting facts. The earpieces she provided really helped us hear her well. Going early in the day (10am tour) was ideal.

Our guide Laura was very knowledgeable and engaging with the way she spoke. The tour was interesting and of a perfect length. After the guided tour ends after 60-90 minutes you are free to then explore other parts of Versailles such as the gardens on your own.

lovely guide with great sense of humor and really knew how to tour versailles. The headphones were a great way to hear the guide and she knew exactly where to place the group in each room.

Did the Versailles skip the line your and it was fantastic. He summarised the history of Versailles whilst keeping the story brief and interesting and was able to answer all questions asked by the group. Merci Ruben!!

Great tour. Took a quick train ride from Paris to Versailles. We visited with our 9 y/o granddaughter. She didn't want to leave!

My only suggestion would be to meet closer to the entrance. It was a long walk from where we met the guide to get over to the palace. Tour guide was good, and providing individual headphones was perfect. Would recommend.

In general we enjoy these tours. On this tour our guide should have checked microphone devices prior to leaving the tour office. Many of the guests equipment did not work which caused delays and people not being able to hear. Also, guide was not that knowledgeable about Versailles and its history apart from the memorized script.
