Gustus 2019

Gustus – Vini e sapori di Vicenza (Wines and Flavours of Berici Hills) is an event organized by "Strada dei Vini dei Colli Berici" and "Consorzio Tutela Vini Colli Berici e Vicenza DOC". It aims at promoting the culinary excellence of Colli Berici region, which is a reference point for wine and food lovers.

It takes place on October 12th-14th at Barchessa of Villa Sangiantofetti Rigon, close to the heart of Colli Berici production area.

You'll have the opportunity to taste the wines of the DOC Colli Berici, Vicenza and Gambellara, along with honey, cheeses, meats, baked goods, coffee and extra virgin olive oil of the Colli Berici, as well as grappas, regional specialties and spirits. At Gustus, DOC wines, gastronomy and typical products are on display: an entire territory to be tasted.

Saturday, October 12th the Guide to excellence in Vicenza food and wine will be introduced, a production by the Journal of Vicenza.

Sunday, October 13 at 18:00 will take place a Master Class by the name of "The Berici Hills among the greats of the world" with Nicola Frasson and Gianni Fabrizio, editors of the Guide Wines Gambero Rosso. The most distinctive varieties of the Berici Hills with the best red wines in the world will be tasted and compared.

Monday, October 14th will be enriched by two thematic tastings dedicated to the different interpretations of Garganega and red grapes that have better acclimatized in the Vicenza area.
