Stop At: Bel Air Cemetery, Mahe Island Seychelles

The ruins of the old Bel Air Cemetery evokes the tales of famous giants and royalty known to have walked the soils of the Seychelles. This old ruin is the first burial place during the French colonial rule in the 18th Century. The epitaph provides the names of the famous settlers inclusive of the mysterious Pierre Louis Poiret who is believed to be the son of Louis XV1 who took refuge in Seychelles during the bloodbath of the French Revolution. Bel Air Cemetery is also the burial place of the son in law of Queau De Quincy, a French magistrate\ and district administrator who resided in Seychelles during the French rule.

Stop At: Mission Lodge Lookout, Sans Soucis road, Victoria, Mahe Island Seychelles

Enjoy the sites of Trois Freres Mount and be dazzled by its lush greenies. Feel the change in altitude and the fresh air that greets you on this wonderful journey. Walk in the footsteps of royalty as you leisurely stroll through Mission Lodge re-known as Venns Town built in 1875 by the Anglican Church for freed slaves. Be dazzled by the picturesque views of the Viewing Lodge. The Lodge unveils what’s in store on this trip, the perfect waters and beaches of the southern coastlines of Seychelles. Places to snorkel unwind laze on the beach under the southern sun, enjoy a coconut or the swim in turquoise waters of the Indian Oceans.

Stop At: Tea Factory, Sans Soucis Rd, Mahe Island Seychelles

As you meander through the hills downward from Venns Town, let the sights of green tea trees welcomes you to its home where it is dried and packed for the local and international markets. The tea factory build in 1962 is an ideal location to experience the freshness of our mountain produce. Sit like Royalty and sip on a cup of fresh brewed vanilla tea and enjoy the panoramic views of the southern coastlines. After a small tour of the factory, fees included you will be directed to the Morne Seychellois, the highest yet magnificent peaks of the archipelago

Stop At: Morne Seychellos National Park, Victoria, Mahe Island Seychelles

Your trip will take you up hill via San Soucis Road with the towering of the Trois Freres Mountain boating its lush green vegetation and granitic outcrops. As you drive further up from Sans Soucis, you will enjoy the beautiful scenery of intermingling peaks, red earth, tea plantation and the Morne Seychellois range soaring 900 metres above the land. Against a back drop of different flora and fauna inclusive of cinnamon, palms, singing birds and sometimes fog during the early mornings, this trip is a true encounter with a tropical paradise.

Stop At: Port Glaud Waterfall, Seychelles

Our coach will then take you up a small stretch of road lined on both sides by wonderful houses, artefacts shops on to the Port Glaud waterfall. Feel the fresh air of this place, enjoy the sight of the pure tropical waters cascading down the mountains of Port Glaud. A refreshing sight, soak your feet in the water and capture this perfect moment on camera. Let this memory be recorded in eternity. Port Glaud Water fall is such a serene environment and a moment to remember.

Stop At: Port Glaud Lagoon, West Coast Road, Port Glaud, Mahe Island Seychelles

Take the 100 metres long through the walk a vibrant mangrove forest containing several flowering species of trees, which were flowers and fruits in profusion. These include Avicennia marina, Rhizophora mucronata, Bruguiera gymnorrhiza and Sonneratia alba, plus the fern Achrostichum. The Mangrove plantation is a conservation project sponsored by Ephelia Resort, a five star hotel nestled close by. The plantation will stimulate your love for nature and expose you to Seychelles efforts to preserve its pristine natural resources for posterity.

One of Seychelles most picturesque seascapes, this park encloses eight beautiful beaches, where you can laze under the broad leaf branches of the takamaka trees or play hide and seek around the boulders that hides the secret white scaped beaches of this magnificent location. The seas in this brilliant area are ideal for snorkelling, swimming or for taking a cruise out to the expense of the park. Port Launay offers visitors a wide choice of activities. Port Launay is the perfect place to meet with the locals and have a relaxed time.

Stop At: Baie Ternay Marine National Park, Anse Du Riz - sudwestlich von Beau Vallon Baie Ternay, Mahe Island Seychelles

Stretching from Cap Matoupa, the divider from Port Launay beach, Baie Ternay is a treasure cove for sharks and all the wonderful marine creatures of the Indian Ocean. This place is preserve for posterity. Be prepared for the nice leisurely walk along the beach and intermittent viewing of the oceans that makes you feel its presence as the waves crash onto the nearby shores. The Marine Park is an excellent view-point for watching whale sharks, dolphins and other marine life. Baie Ternay’s white sandy and secluded beaches are idyllic spots for swimming, snorkelling, picnics and sunbathing.

Stop At: Le Jardin Du Roi Spice Garden, Domaine de L'enfoncement Anse Royale, Mahe, Mahe Island Seychelles

The King’s Garden is the English equivalent name for this picturesque location at Anse Royal. Le Jardin Du Roi boasts a magnificent traditional house hosting a museum with Seychelles artefacts and original documents. A walk round the garden introduces the visitors to the eighteen century garden commissioned by Pierre Poivre, a French Governor based in Mauritius in 1872. Jardin Du Roi plays host to one of the best restaurant offering typical Seychelles Creole cuisine

Stop At: Anse Royale beach, Mahe Island 12345 Seychelles

Should time permit, take some time to swim in the calm waters of the Bay Royale. This is the most frequented and famous beach on Mahe. Walk along the length of the huge bay, watch fisherman sell the catch of the day. Feel the white talcum powdery sand massage your feet and toes as you stroll around the beach and enjoying the sounds of the surf crash by.
