About this activity
Pick up from the Hotel at 06:30am with packed breakfast from your Hotel (you must arrange this). Your journey will take you through rural villages with traditional huts to view, rural hospitals, schools, churches and the highlight of the drive will be The Hwange Colliery which exports large amounts of coal across the world.
On arrival at one of the Lodges, you will get accustomed to the game drive by an experienced guide in a Game Drive Vehicle. There are several water holes that are in the park that your guide will travel close to in an attempt to catch the animals during their feeding time. Your guide will drive you through the park enabling you to view animals from the top of terrain. You will then be taken back to the lodge for a heavy brunch at mid day.
As the suns heat cools down most animals heard for the water holes and in pursuit of game, you will be taken on your second Game Drive. It has been noted that the best of Game Viewing is when the sunsets, that is when the wild tends to flock towards watering holes and there is no other way we can suggest to see Zimbabwe Finest game. You will be transferred back to your hotel in Victoria falls and will arrive at approximately 18:00.

The excursion went from relaxed to rushed. The trip to the reserve was a bit disorganized, as the driver and game guide were not in sync on the meeting location. Which seemed to delay our start time for the reserve. Once in the reserve we basically did 2 out and backs on trails primarily through bush, which made it difficult to see much more than birds for most of the trip. We were able to see some game near the watering holes. For the largest park in Zimbabwe and having supposedly 2 game drives, we seemed to see very little of the park. The excursion was also cut short by our game guide, and when confronted with that fact he just brushed it off and proceeded to drop us off for the drive back to Victoria Falls
