Victoria Falls Helicopter Tour

Start your experience with a pickup from your Victoria Falls hotel and travel by minibus to the helipad near Elephant Hills Inter-Continental Hotel. Listen to a safety briefing, and then board your 10-seater helicopter to head to the skies of Zimbabwe!

Leaving the urban sights behind you, your first airborne view is of the Zambezi River – a long narrow ribbon in the earth that separates the national parks of Zimbabwe and Zambia. See its torrents of water gush toward the basalt gorges that comprise Victoria Falls – the waterfall that’s listed as one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World.

Taking into account width and height (roughly 1.2 miles (2km) wide and 360 feet (108m) high), Victoria Falls is the world’s largest waterfall, and certainly one of the most spectacular. Gaze down at the crashing waters and spray as your helicopter flies around in a figure-eight loop above the falls, allowing every person on board to enjoy clear views.

The windows on your helicopter have been modified with clear glass sides, so – even if you don’t get one of the window seats – you’ll enjoy unobstructed views throughout the flight.

After roughly 13 minutes in the air, loop back to Elephant Hills and touch down back at the start point. Before leaving, your pilot will give you a souvenir video and photo of your helicopter experience.
