Downtown Victoria Craft Beer and Culinary Tour

We start the tour at Varsha Indian Kitchen where we will sample their famous butter chicken curry and a spicy veggie pakora. Indian food and beer are a perfect fit and at this stop we will pair two local beers that go perfect with dishes with lots of flavour and spice. After a leisurely stroll through historic Chinatown including Fan Tan Alley, we head to the iconic Swan's brewery. Nestled in an old grain storage building, Swan's has been brewing great beer since 1989. We will pair 2 beers with a creamy and crispy arancini and some of their bread made with the spent grains from the brewery. Bread and beer are a match made in heaven! Lastly we end at Canoe Brewpub where we will sample 2 of their in-house beers paired with something sweet. Located in a heritage building along the Inner Harbour, this is a great place to linger and enjoy the view or continue East on the Victoria ale trail.
