BEST ADVENTURE OF OUR TRIP. This was a private your with two wine tasting and a boat cruise on the Danube to Melk Abbey. Outstanding, be prepared to wear comfortable shoes and take your time. Our guide was amazing and we thoroughly loved everything about this tour.

The tour was great. However it was extremely expensive because it was a private tour for my husband and me. It was my mistake, which I realized a couple of days before the tour, and it was too late to add other guests to bring down the price. Nonetheless, it was a wonderful day. Jonas was a very nice guide. Knowledgeable and patient, he made sure we got everything we were looking for. We enjoyed seeing the terraced slopes of the Wachau Valley. We had a good tasting at Domaine Wachau. Then, we went to a very pleasant wine garden where we had lunch and tasted tasted a few more local wines. Then a 1-hr boat trip up the river and finally a self-guided tour through the lovely Melk Abby. Thanks again to Jonas for a very fine experience.

Stelios picked us up at our hotel promptly at 10 and off we went to spend a FABULOUS day exploring the wine valley and Melk Abbey. Our first stop at a small winery was delightful. The first winery offered some delicious wines and fortified wines that were yummy. We then went to lunch at a charming restaurant, sitting outside in a beautiful green space. Lunch was reasonably priced and delicious. We then went to a another winery where we tasted yet again. Again, good wines. We then took a Danube cruise to reach the Melk Abbey. The abbey is beautiful. Stelios gave us the right balance of talk and silence and we were very comfortable with him. He also knows his wines and paid attention to our tastes as we tasted. Overall, this tour was awesome!

Marco was a great guide. Knowledgeable and gave us time to be flexible yet kept us on schedule to make all connections. Marco was friendly and a great sense of humor. The six of us would recommend Marco in the future. Bruce
