Explore Cesky Krumlov, situated on the banks of the Vltava River and built around a 13th-century castle. My family and I took a day trip from Vienna to Cesky Krumlov and enjoyed it immensely! We were picked up at our Airbnb in Vienna by Peter of White Alligator Tours (arranged through Viator) promptly at the appointed time. The van was clean and comfortable, and Peter provided a running dialog of interesting information about Vienna and the surrounding area as we travelled to Cesky Krumlov. Once we arrived Vladamira, a local guide, showed us around the city and castle, making sure we knew were everything was. After that we had time to explore the city center on our own, during which we had an excellent lunch at a local restaurant, did some shopping, and further explored the castle. On the return trip Peter took a different route back to Vienna, allowing us to see new scenery. We were very pleased both with Cesky Krumlov and our guides, and highly recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys Medieval towns and castles.
