About this activity
After meeting at the office on Franz-Josefs-Kai street in central Vienna by 1pm, you'll meet your guide and others who may be joining the tour. Before heading out for a ride, receive an introduction to your fun, electric Fatbike. E-Fatbikes are easy to use and you will be grateful for the electric assistance, as we can cover more distance and get up those hills much easier in the 21-mile (35-kilometer) ride. After your feeling comfortable with your new ride, listen to a overview of the tour and receive some specific safety guidelines. Now, you are ready to begin your scenic ride out of the city.

Your guide will lead you along the fortified walls of the Danube Canal to the top of Vienna's highest hill, the Kahlenberg. On Kahlenberg, you'll have a chance to take in the breathtaking scenery and along the way your guide will always be providing you with informative commentary on the history of this area and it's connection to Vienna. After a well earned complimentary light refreshment to recharge you for the next part of the ride, you will continue down through the small village of Nussdorf, onto the Danube Island which is the perfect place to view the different districts of Vienna from an interesting and architectural perspective.

Cruise along the banks of the Danube River on the Danube Island with a stop for a traditional Austrian Bratwurst and a 'Radler' (beer & lemonade). The Danube Island is the perfect place to stop in summer, to take in the atmosphere, perhaps go for a swim, and experience the real Viennese recreational lifestyle. Returning back to the office, there is no better way than to the tour with a ride though the Prater Park with it's beautiful tree-lined streets paved just for riders and pedestrians.

After completing the itinerary, you'll return to the original departure point around 5pm.
