Visit the Wachau Valley from Vienna. Located along the Danube, the Wachau valley is known for its excellent wine and for being a UNESCO World Heritage Site filled with medieval castles, impressive monasteries, and of course breathtaking landscapes. Travel from Vienna to Krems, a quaint and charming village on the banks of the Danube river. There, take a short walk through the city center then pass Dürnstein where you can get a glimpse of the ruins of Dürnstein castle - where King Richard the Lionheart was held captive - from a nearby hill.
Discover the capital of Austria in the evening light and enjoy the sunset over Vienna from the water. Sail along the Danube, end the day in peace and quiet and enjoy the special atmosphere on board.
