UNESCO world heritage site. Pass by buildings dating back to medieval times.

Pass By: Wachau Valley, Joching Austria

Cycle through quaint villages, along vineyards, apricot orchards and the river Danube.

Stop At: Burgruine Duernstein, Ruinenweg, Durnstein 3601 Austria

Arrive to Dürnstein, enjoy the first wine tasting here. Lunch break. Spare time to have lunch (at own expense) or hike up to the ruins of Kuenringer Castle.

Stop At: Winery Denk Walter and Gabriele, Weißenkirchen in der Wachau 150, 3610 Weißenkirchen in der Wachau, Austria

Visit a traditional local wine tavern for the second wine tasting. Take a picture - the view over Weißenkirchen and the river Danube is breathtaking.

I booked this tour to explore outside Vienna in a different way other than walking. It was so much fun! The weather was perfect, the views were amazing, the people were great and our tour guide Christina was absolutely amazing. She made our entire Vienna trip... My Fiancé and I enjoyed talking with her and she was so friendly with the locals in the small town we stopped at. She made us feel so comfortable and tolerated us wanted to take pictures all the time. Wine was amazing and views were to die for. Book this tour if you love wine and good views with good people! My boyfriend and I had a WONDERFUL time on this tour. Christina, our guide, was fabulous and it really is the best way to get outside of the city and explore. We are 25, but the group was a mix of all ages and people from all over which was a great opportunity to meet new people. Highly recommend to anyone and everyone!

This was the highlight of our entire trip to Eastern Europe. It was SOOO much fun. We laughed, drank, ate and rode. The biking was not strenuous. Our guide took the time to know each of us and was extremely knowledgeable about the country side we rode through. We stopped at really cool wineries learned about and tasted many wines. We would absolutely recommend this tour!!

This was very beautiful and such a cool experience. It was extremely hot like 98 F the day we took the tour so that might have been part of it but the distance on the bike was much farther than I expected. There is an optional hike for one part that is also pretty strenuous. On our way back I was so ready for it to be over because you basically do all the cool stuff and tastings on the way there and just ride all the way back. I would do it again though I just wish I knew ahead of time what I was in for. Our tour guide was awesome and so was our group.

Was the Hi-light to my trip in Vienna. Giovanni was very knowledgeable and loved the fact he took us to Private Wine Cellars along the route. My only suggestion....tour group should ask individuals if they have biked in the last 3 months.
