If you're going to be late, let your travel agent or hotel reception know. We'll be checking your passport details, insurance details and next of kin information at this meeting, so it’s important you attend. If you can't arrange a flight that will arrive in time, you may wish to get to Vientiane a day early so you're able to attend.
  • Travel insurance is compulsory. We require that, at a minimum, you are covered for medical expenses including emergency repatriation. We strongly recommend that the policy also covers personal liability, cancellation, curtailment and loss of luggage and personal effects.
  • The heat can be challenging in the tropics. Be sure to dress accordingly and stay hydrated, especially in April and May.
  • For general enquiries or questions about your booking, please contact your agent or adventure specialist, or visit us at www.intrepidtravel.com/contact-us In case of a genuine crisis or emergency, you can reach our local operator on the number at Intrepid's Thailand Office:+66 898 103 722
  • Laos is a beautifully laid back destination, but it's also less developed than most in South East Asia, so a little bit of patience goes a long way. Roads may be bumpy and journeys may take longer than expected.
  • You will visit a number of temples which requires a level of modesty. You will need to bring clothes that cover the arms and pants or skirts that go past the knees. A light scarf is also a good idea for covering
  • This tour/activity will have a maximum of 12 travelers
