About this activity
Meet at the agreed location and time on the day of your flight.
You will need:
• Warm clothes - it's colder up high than it is on the ground
• Closed sturdy shoes, preferably hiking boots
• A thin hat to wear under the helmet
• Gloves
We will go through a quick briefing about what to expect, safety features and the equipment we use.
Once we are ready to fly, we take a few steps down the slope until the wing is inflated and then we step into the air and you can seat back and relax. The harness you will be sitting in is very comfortable so you can rest and enjoy the stunning views as we glide over the beautiful landscapes of South Iceland.
Flight duration - we aim at between 10-20 minutes depending on weather conditions. If we think that the flight will be shorter we will tell you beforehand.
Photography - we have high-quality photo and video equipment and you can get the files from us afterwards. You can bring your camera at your own risk
Safety - we take safety very seriously and fly only if the weather conditions allow us to. If the weather is not suitable for flying we can wait until or decide to postpone the flight for another time
