Cultural weekend in Vilnius

Day 1 Arrival to Vilnius. Private transfer to 4* centrally located hotel “Amberton” or similar. 2h Vilnius Old Town tour visiting the main sights: Cathedral square, Pilies street, baroque Vilnius University, miraculous Gates of the Dawn and artsy Uzupis district. Optional: entrance tickets Cathedral Bell Tower - 5 EUR. Free evening to explore the city on your own or visit event (we will assist in getting tickets). 
Day 2 Breakfast in the hotel. Morning departure to Trakai (28 km from Vilnius). Trakai - the capital of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. Visit the 15th century Insular Trakai Castle housing an exhibition on prehistoric findings and applied art of 17-18th century, learn about the way of life of the Lithuanian Grand Dukes, and the Karaites, brought to Lithuania from the Crimean Peninsular. Lunch in traditional Karaites’ restaurant. Afternoon return to Vilnius. Time to dive in Lithuanian crafts and design scene. Majority of boutique shops are located in the Old Town. Visit linen, clothing stores, jewelry galleries of local artists, amber gallery ARZA, which offers not only unique jewelry, but also cosmetics, food with amber. You won’t get this anywhere else! In Lithuanian “Oxford street” – Gediminas avenue, you will find shops of world famous brands. Evening to visit selected event. Overnight.
 
Day 3 Breakfast at the hotel. Private transfer to airport. End of the tour. Departure.
